Comprehensive development at the DEPLAST KFT site

  • Name of beneficiary: DEPLAST KFT
  • Amount of contracted support: HUF 31,142,217
  • Support rate (%): 50%
  • Project completion date: 29 March 2023

The project's objective was to develop our main activity, the injection moulding of technical plastic products.

Through the development we renewed our production equipment, improved the energy efficiency of our building, raised the qualifications of our employees, achieved more efficient work, and reduced CO2 emissions.

By putting into operation the most advanced injection moulding machine, we not only expanded our production capacity but are now also able to manufacture products with a high surface quality and made of special materials.

Through the thermal insulation and solar investment affecting Building II, beyond reducing emissions, we have also laid the foundations for later relocating production into the building currently used mainly as a warehouse.

Another project element supported obtaining material-handling equipment licences, raising our employees' qualifications and thereby making production logistics more efficient. This was further supported by another project element, the use of cloud services to improve information transfer.

INSTALLATION OF A 44.89 KWP SOLAR SYSTEM AT DEPLAST KFT

  • Project identification number: GINOP-4.1.4-19-2020-00720
  • Name of beneficiary: Deplast Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság
  • Project title: Installation of a 44.89 kWp solar system at Deplast Kft.
  • Amount of support: HUF 7,159,930
  • Support rate: 54.999998%

Project description: Under the project, Deplast Kft. installed a solar power system at its site at 2800 Tatabánya, Tavaszmező utca 2.

The system consists of the following components:

  • 134 Trina Solar Honey TSM-335 DE06M (II) solar panels
  • 1 Solar Edge SE25K and 1 Solar Edge SE16K inverter, mounting structure and installation materials
  • The energy efficiency development significantly reduces primary energy consumption, which also lowers the site's operating costs. By using renewable energy we reduce our harmful emissions and contribute to promoting good environmental practice.
  • Project completion: 10 December 2020

GINOP-2.1.8-17-2017-01131

"Implementation of innovative technology through the acquisition of a high-performance CNC injection moulding machine"

  • Name of beneficiary: Deplast Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság
  • Amount of contracted support: HUF 15,000,000
  • Support rate (%): 41.23%
  • Project completion date: 21 August 2018

We put into operation 1 innovative, CNC-controlled plastic injection moulding machine with its accessories. Compared to our previous capabilities, the new, innovative machine can work with 2.2 times greater clamping force (220 t), and it achieves this without our company needing to expand its electrical network, since this machine's power consumption is lower than that of a conventional hydraulic machine with 50 tonnes of clamping force.

With this innovation we are able to produce plastic products that are more than 3 times heavier, more durable and stronger, meaning that, in relation to our current activities, we can now also create significantly modified, more durable and higher-quality products.

We are now able to manufacture parts of such precision and size that we meet the requirements of international food-processing machine manufacturers as well as car manufacturers. Besides quality, our resource efficiency has also improved, and our capacity has increased thanks to the high-performance machines. Our company's competitiveness, stability and profitability have also improved as a result of the project.

Further results of the innovation investment:

  • the ability to manufacture special parts
  • a better competitive position, expanded supplier opportunities
  • increased competitiveness of our company
  • greater capacity
  • better quality, fewer complaints
